CARLSBAD, Calif. (February 8, 2024) Wondering who will win the Super Bowl? Over 300 fish including Bat fish, Rabbit fish, Tangs and Butterfly fish inside SEA LIFE® Aquarium at LEGOLAND® California Resort predict the Super Bowl winning team will be the Kansas City Chiefs!
Two divers dove 17 feet under water to the bottom of the 198,000 gallon Ocean Habitat inside the Carlsbad aquarium each holding a football and helmet covered in Nori, a fish-favorite seaweed treat, representing each Super Bowl team: the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. The winning Super Bowl team was decided by the first helmet that was uncovered by the fish fully eating off the Nori. Among the 60 different species of omnivores that call the Ocean Habitat their home, the Unicorn Tang ate the final piece of Nori on the Kansas City Chiefs helmet while the seaweed on the San Franscisco 49ers helmet was nibbled on but still intact, making the Chiefs the predicted winners!
