CONSERVATION AT SEA LIFE
Here at SEA LIFE California, we care deeply about our oceans and its creatures
Under our ethos BREED, RESCUE, PROTECT, we have established breeding programs to better understand species from Undulate Rays, to Lined Seahorses, to Coral Propagation. We help our guests make informed decisions about sustainable seafood choices and the issues surrounding the overfishing.
Our registered charity, The SEA LIFE Trust, was created in 2013 to support projects and campaigns that make a measurable difference in the protection of marine wildlife and habitats.
We also work with a number of global conservation partners, including marine specialists like Bite-Back Shark and Marine Conservation, The Big Fish Campaign, and Seafood Watch.

The AZA requires zoos and aquariums to successfully complete this rigorous accreditation process every five years in order to be members of the association.
