General Questions

Your self-guided experience features 1-day general admission tickets to the Theme Park for your students. Enjoy full access to LEGOLAND® California rides and attractions, a downloadable educational guide, and endless LEGO® fun!

Once a booking request has been submitted, please allow 5-7 business days for verification. Once verification is completed, you will receive a confirmation email with steps to complete your group ticket purchase/reservation.

TK to 8th grade public, private, and home schools are eligible to book. All school types must be able to provide school documents if required and meet all eligibility.

  • For the safety of your students, and to ensure that everyone has an AWESOME experience, we require you to bring enough adults to assist your group.
  • We recommend a 1:5 ratio: 1 chaperone for every 5 students in the group. You are required to have at least one chaperone for every 10 students. All chaperones must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Classes including students with disabilities may bring one adult/chaperone per student needing assistance.

We want every child to have an AWESOME time at LEGOLAND California! Chaperones for students with additional needs can purchase chaperone tickets on a 1:1 ratio. Please let us know any accommodation needs in your Booking Request Form.

Eligibility for School Field Trip Pricing
Homeschool groups qualify for school field trip rates if:

  1. Unified Documentation: The group can provide a single, official source of California-licensed school documentation for the entire group.
    • This may include documentation such as enrollment in the same Private School Satellite Program (PSP), Independent Study Program (ISP), or any other official homeschool program recognized as a single school entity.

Eligibility for Youth Group Pricing
Homeschool families or groups that do not meet the above criteria are eligible for youth group pricing. This category includes:

  1. Mixed Documentation: Groups where members have varying forms of homeschool documentation (e.g., Private School Affidavits, PSP enrollment, or individual homeschool charters).
  2. Independent Families: Homeschool families who wish to attend as a larger group but do not represent a unified school entity.


Yes, Title 1 schools will receive discounted pricing with proper documentation on selected Title 1 days only.

Discounted rates are available for organized youth groups including Scout Troops, Boys & Girls Club, Day Camps, YMCA, Sport Teams, and other organized groups serving children TK-8 grade. If you have questions about eligibility, submit an online interest form to hear back from our team.

Booking & Ticket Questions

  1. Submit an Online Interest Form: Start by filling out our booking request form. A member of our guest experience team will contact you within 5–7 business days to discuss availability.
  2. Complete Your Booking: Once approved, you’ll receive a unique link to finalize your booking online. Payment is required at the time of booking and must be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover).
  3. Receive Tickets and Education Packet: Tickets will be sent digitally after booking, and the self-guided education packet will be provided closer to your visit date.

Note: All ticket sales are final and non-refundable following completion of booking.

If tickets are needed to be added on the day of, the tickets would be charged at the additional chaperone rate of $39 per person. The discounted pricing would not be available for any add-on tickets on day of.

Paid bookings cannot be changed; however, you can add additional tickets if you reach out at least 2 weeks in advance. All ticket, school, and group requirements will still apply. Additional restrictions may apply.

Parking is free for buses. Additional cars will be charged for parking upon entry at standard parking rates. Parking can be pre-purchased with license plate number provided for more seamless entry on day of visit!

Schools will receive free parking for chaperones within 1:5 ratio of 1 chaperone to 5 students. Youth groups are not eligible for any free parking.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable following completion of booking. Once booking payment has been submitted, no refunds or cancellations will be allowed after that time. If additional assistance is required, please reach out to us at llceducationgroups@legoland.com

 

Day of Visit Questions

To help facilitate your arrival, your Theme Park tickets will be emailed to you in advance of your visit. Please print these out in advance or have them accessible on your smart device in preparation for your arrival at LEGOLAND. Upon arrival school buses should stay in the far-right lane.


All individuals and groups entering the Park will pass through a security screening before heading to our ticketing turnstiles to have their group ticket scanned.


Be aware that LEGOLAND California is cashless! Please plan accordingly and advise parents and/or guardians in preparation for your visit.

Yes, we can help to store your lunches and coolers for the day! Upon arrival to the Park, please check in with Guest Services to arrange storage accommodation. Students can enjoy lunches in grassy areas or tables across the Park. Please be respectful and clean up after dining. We are unable to offer storage accommodation for any other items.

Students can exchange cash for gift cards using our reverse ATMs, however, LEGOLAND California Resort is cashless. We have a reserve ATM machine located near the entrance and in The Big Shop where students could exchange cash for gift cards. Cash is not accepted for any purchases in the Resort.

Bus drivers are welcome to remain within their vehicle in the parking lot if they desire. They are also welcome to visit either of our hotels, LEGOLAND Hotel and Castle Hotel. Both hotels have retail and dining available for purchase.

If inclement weather impacts your visit, we can help you to reschedule your visit to another date based on your booking. The date will be dependent on what dates your booking is eligible to visit on. Restrictions may apply. Please reach out to us at llceducationgroups@legoland.com.
